Azimuth (direction), elevation (angle up), and skew (dish rotation) angles for the satellites orbiting at 110° / 119° West Longitude may not be available via the Point DISH and Signal Strength menu.

To use these tables:

First, find your ZIP code or the range of ZIP codes that includes your ZIP code.
For example, if your ZIP code is 80232, use the angles for the range of 80200 - 80299, which are azimuth 183°, elevation 43°, and skew 101°.

Then, use the azimuth (AZ), elevation (EL), and skew (SK) angles for your ZIP code or range of ZIP codes to find the satellites. The azimuth angle has already been corrected for magnetic deviation, so you can use this number on a compass. The azimuth angles, elevation angles, and skew angles provided in the table are in degrees.

This zip file requires a utility program to allow you to open and use our azimuth and elevation calculator. The most common "unzipping" software is WinZip. Click Here to get a free download of WinZip 7.0. After downloading and installing WinZip to your hard drive, open WinZip and extract the azielevation.exe. Next, open this exe from where you extracted it to and enter your ZIP Code.

ZIP Code 32 v1.3 Application
ZIP Code 32 v1.3 instructions. The ZIP Code application was written to assist customers in obtaining the azimuth (compass heading) and elevation angle (up/down setting on dish antenna) necessary to aim their dish antenna to receive a signal. Version 1.3 adds support for both out new orbital slot at 110 West Longitude, and for our new DISH 500 dual-focus dish antenna. NOTE: Do NOT select the DISH 500 option unless you have a DISH 500. Using this option with one of the DISH 300 dish antennas will give you the wrong azimuth and elevation numbers. To use the ZIP Code application, enter your ZIP Code in the field and select the satellite location=no that you wish to receive azimuth and elevation numbers for.
